Starhaven Gallery

I paint commissions of people, dogs, horses... I try to fit in some paintings for my home as well. I work with oil paint on canvas, mainly.

 

There is a fee of a minimum of $300.00; but, my client has to be happy with the final commissioned work. I have given paintings as gifts.

Poetry is another pursuit. I am delving into music, as I enjoy making mini movies. I practise daily on the piano ( had lessons and did two exams as a kid). Perhaps, I can write one musical about Tambar Springs, NSW; and, New York City - I have already developed a storyline (tap danced from 3 years old)...want to learn guitar, too.

In the past I have been an Art and Craft teacher in Sydney for 3 years.

I studied at Art School for 2 years; but, am mainly self taught.

As part of my BA I did numerous courses in Fine Art; Drama; the Classics; Philosophy; and, Education. My BA major was Latin.

I have one child, Matthew; a dog, Archer; and, a cat: Gus. I adore the ocean: beaches being not far from my home. I have a country property where some of this art work was done, in Tambar Springs NSW; a block of land on Russell island, Qld; and, another block in Merriwa NSW. Due to Covid-19, I haven't been able to travel to any of these places, I hope to develop one day.

I have visited Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Paris, Rome. In 2019, I spent about a week in NYC...plans to travel more...

​

Fortunately, I haven't caught Covid. 2022: 2 commissions: "Kyzar" and "Sisters" here on my web site now.
